1 Minute Maine 5/8/2020: Cruise Ship Maine-Bound, Shooting in Bucksport & Potentially Historic Snowstorm

A cruise ship loaded with passengers might be headed to Maine to tie up for the summer, but there are no COVID-19 cases reported aboard. Maine has partnered with Idexx Labs to more than triple our testing ability for coronavirus, and Maine has received another $4.7M grant to help with testing too. A man was shot in his driveway in Bucksport, daytime construction projects will commence in the Portland area while people are largely off the roads, and a potentially record-breaking late spring snow storm is headed our way for the weekend.

1 Minute Maine highlights the biggest things happening in Vacationland, in just about one minute. Subscribe or listen to Maine Vibe live at 12, 3, 5 & 6pm ET each weekday.
