Outdoor burns have been banned across the state because of extremely dry conditions. A Georgia woman at Bangor International Airport was stopped with a loaded gun at a TSA checkpoint – she claimed that she didn’t know she had it with her. Maine’s Catholic schools are set to return to in-person classes this fall, amid criticism, as many schools have announced online instruction plans. Bangor and Orono schools are reviewing their policies regarding school resource police officers, in light of recent events nationwide.
