Ryan Gavin is an experienced broadcaster and media executive, heard on radio stations across the United States every day.

On the air since 2009, Ryan owns and operates Maine Vibe LLC, a diversified media company based in Portland. Maine Vibe provides custom audio and digital programming, consulting and management services for radio stations and media brands in a variety of formats and markets.
Before starting Maine Vibe in 2019, Ryan was a featured personality for some of New England’s best-known radio stations, like Q97.9 WJBQ, 103.7 The Peak, 97.5 WOKQ, 94.9 WHOM, 96.1 WQHR, and others. He’s also worked with brands like WGTX 106.5 & 102.3, WZNF 95.3, 94.3 WCYY, 89.3 WHSN, 91.9 WMEB, and 102.9 WBLM. Ryan is the recipient of multiple broadcasting industry awards and recognitions, including creative awards from the Maine, New Hampshire, Massachusetts and Mississippi Associations of Broadcasters.
Since 2019, Maine Vibe has produced and syndicated daily programming to remote clients across the country. Audio programming, creative services, media automation, talent management and format consulting services are all delivered remotely and with in-market working visits. Maine Vibe’s programming team specializes in traditional broadcast formats like Top 40, Hot Country and Classic Hits, as well as emerging formats like Throwback Hits and Spoken Audio.
Maine Vibe is one of northern New England’s leading event entertainment and lighting design companies. Trading as Maine Made Weddings and Apollo Sound & Lighting, Maine Vibe produces more than 200 events each year. Since 2015, Maine Made Weddings has provided audio and lighting services for all types of events, from small private celebrations to large branded experiences. Maine Vibe oversaw more than 12 million unique views per month to managed social media brands in 2022, and also offers custom digital design services to small and mid-size clients.
Active in the Maine community, Ryan served two terms on the Biddeford School Committee and ran as a candidate for Mayor of Biddeford in 2011. In 2024, he was elected President of the United States Senate Youth Alumni Association, where he leads more than 6,600 members from delegate classes stretching from the 1960s to the 2020s. Ryan also served as the volunteer Media Director for the American Legion’s Boys State program in Maine.
Ryan is passionate about using media to advance the impact of civic and nonprofit organizations like accredited educational programs and foundations that engage students, build communities, and teach about our shared Americanism.
