About Ryan

Ryan Gavin is an experienced broadcaster, media producer and digital content manager, heard on radio stations across the United States every day.

On the air since 2009, Ryan owns and manages Maine Vibe LLC, a diversified media company based in Portland, Maine. Maine Vibe provides custom audio/digital programming and consulting services for radio stations and media brands in a variety of formats and markets, and also operates companies like Maine Made Weddings and Maine Vibe Design.

Before starting Maine Vibe in 2019, Ryan was a featured personality for some of New England’s best-known radio stations, like Q97.9 WJBQ, 103.7 The Peak, 97.5 WOKQ, 94.9 WHOM, 96.1 WQHR, and others. He’s also worked with brands like WZNF 95.3, WGTX 102.3, WZKX 107.9, 94.3 WCYY, 101.9 WOZI, 89.3 WHSN, 91.9 WMEB, 102.9 WBLM, and other stations in markets from Maine to Mississippi.

Since 2019, Maine Vibe has produced and syndicated daily programming to remote clients across the country. Programming, promotional, automation, technical and format consulting services are all delivered remotely and with in-market working visits. Maine Vibe’s programming team specializes in traditional formats like Top 40, Hot Country and Classic Hits, as well as emerging formats like Throwback Hits and Spoken Audio.

Maine Made Weddings is one of northern New England’s leading event entertainment and design companies, producing more than 200 events each year. Since 2015, Maine Made Weddings has provided audio and lighting services for all types of events, from small private celebrations to large branded experiences.

Maine Vibe Design oversaw more than 12 million unique views per month to managed social media brands in 2022, and also offers custom digital design services to small and mid-size clients.

Active in the Maine community, Ryan served two terms on the Biddeford School Committee and ran as a candidate for Mayor of Biddeford in 2011. As a volunteer, he lead a digital development team for seven years at the American Legion’s Dirigo Boys State Program and served as the program’s media director. He’s also a director of the United States Senate Youth Program Alumni Association, where he attended as a delegate in 2009. Ryan is the recipient of multiple broadcasting industry awards and recognitions, including creative awards from the Maine, New Hampshire, Massachusetts and Mississippi Associations of Broadcasters.

Ryan is passionate about using media and digital connectivity to advance the impact of civic and nonprofit organizations like accredited educational programs and foundations that engage students, build communities, and teach about our shared Americanism.
